Comments on the Favre Saga

I was reading a blog entry on ESPN.com regarding the Brett to Minnesota story, and at the bottom of the page I started to read the various comments left by the readers. Most of them were just typical responses, but I came across this comment and I think that it really hit the spot. The reader goes by "Kennysiology". I have always liked Brett Favre, but I find myself agreeing with almost everything that is written below; I'm getting sick of it, he is damaging his reputation, and more importantly he is jerking people around, most notably, the fans of the Green Bay Packers. As far as i'm concerned, anyone who is covering the Favre story should be bashing him for the terrible decisions he is making.

SERIOUSLY!!! What a joke! I have grown to harbor a REAL disrespect for Brett Favre, and am borderline hating ESPN for blowing this crap up every time BRETT wants to get back in the limelight. Who cares if he CAN still play...It's the fact that he keeps QUITTING and then keeps coming back and putting his fans(which I am NOT one of) through heartache. He, to me, is crushing his legacy. Brett: SIT DOWN!...GO FISHING!...MOW YOUR YARD! At this point, I'd much rather hear about the A-Rod saga than stories of a washed-up QB trying AGAIN to come back! And OH YEAH BRETT!!...Didn't you want retire a "PACKER"?...Way to cheat all your loyal fans!
